Meet the Author

Sylvia Gadson is a passionate and dedicated author of children's books who has made it her mission to create stories that teach important lessons about kindness and acceptance. Through her popular character, Tiny Tamara “TT”, who has Cerebral Palsy just like Sylvia herself, she is able to connect with young readers in a unique and powerful way.

With over 15 years of experience as a New York State licensed childcare provider, Sylvia understands the importance of teaching children about empathy and understanding towards those who may be different from themselves. Drawing from her own personal experiences she is able to create heartfelt and relatable stories that resonate with children of all ages.

Through her books, Sylvia aims to inspire children to be more compassionate and considerate towards others, regardless of any differences they may have. By showcasing the challenges and triumphs of her character, Tiny Tamara TT, Sylvia is able to spark important conversations about handicap accessibility, diversity and inclusion in a way that is both engaging and impactful, spreading messages of love and acceptance in the world of children's literature.
